The STDRIVE gate drivers represent the latest advanced product series, consisting of four distinct products specifically designed to drive three-phase brushless motors for various applications, with a maximum supply voltage of up to 50V. These drivers excel in scenarios where battery efficiency is critical, making them an ideal choice for power tools, vacuum cleaners, and small household appliances. The STDRIVE102 series is particularly notable for its ability to efficiently manage current consumption in standby mode, ensuring optimal performance even when the device is not actively operating.
STDRIVE102H and STDRIVE102BH are the first new products launched in the market, offering a simple and flexible analog control method.
A standout feature of these gate drivers is their ability to drive six external N-channel power MOSFETs while offering programmable gate current. This characteristic not only enhances the performance of the power stage but also allows precise adjustment of the slew rate of the power output without the need for external gate resistors.
The advanced charge pump integration is a significant advantage as it ensures the continuous operation of the high-side driver by providing the necessary power supply.
