Parade PS8830 為全功能 USB4™ Retimer用於Host side 的USB-C 應用 。支援 USB4™、DisplayPort™ 2.0 和 Thunderbolt™ 3.0 等之介面。
Parade PS8830符合 USB4 和 USB 3.2 規範以及相關的 USB-IF 規範 , 支援Retimer and Alternate mode。同時符合在DisplayPort Alternate Mode應用之 VESA USB Type-C® 2.0 標準。
除了支援完整的 USB4 Gen 3×2 和 USB 3.2 Gen 2×2應用，與支援DisplayPort UHBR20 (20GBps) 應用外。在符合DP Alt 模式標準應用下，PS8830 還支援 USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 的應用以及 DP 1 或 2 Lanes應用。
憑藉著完全支援的 USB4 和 Alt 模式功能，PS8830 提供了一個簡單但高效能的Retimer方案，用於 USB-C receptacle應用的高速信號完整性和合規性。
PS8830還提供超低待機功耗，適合筆電或類似產品的應用。
